Effect of cultural practices and aphid infestation on seed yield and its component traits in Brassica juncia (L.) Czern and Coss

The effect of cultural practices which included three levels of irrigation, three levels of nitrogen and three spacings between lines were tried in split-plot design for the control of aphid infestation on seed yield and component traits in mustard crop. There was no significant difference in yield and other yield contributing factors between once and twice irrigated crop. Spacing had no effect of marked on aphid infestation and level of nitrogen application had no effect. The spraying with phosphamidon 0.30% reduced the aphid population and increased the seed weigh t and yields
