A study on age of green pods for successful ovule culture of Dendrobium Jacquelyn concert

The study of green pod culture of Den. Jacquelyn Concert (self-pollination) in modified vacin and went medium began when the pods were 42, 49, 56, 63, 70, 77, 84 and 91 days old. Two methods of sowing were used: (1) immature seeds with placenta and (2) dissolved immature seeds in water. Only immature seeds with placenta germinated at the age of 42 days. Immature seeds with or without placenta could germinate well from the age of 56 days after pollination
