Effect of different temperature on the number of flower buds of Zephyranthes grandiflora Bulb

Flower buds in Zephyranthes grandiflora bulbs stored at 1 degree Centigrade, 5 degrees Centigrade, 10 degrees Centigrade and room temperature (28-30 degrees Centigrade) during the period of 4, 8, 12 and 16 weeks were observed. Z. grandiflora had an average of 1.18 flower buds per bulb, with different flower buds when compared in the storage of 4, 8, 12 or 16 weeks. Prolonged cold storage at 1 degree Centigrade or 5 degrees Centigrade caused damage to the bulb. Keeping the bulbs under normal room temperature was recommended
