Three experiments were carried out to study the possibility of using cement dust as a fertilizer, planting barley in both sand and soil media. Different levels of cement dust were used; compare cement dust with potassium sulfate fertilizer on barley planted in sand media. Cement dust did not show any significant effect on dry matter yield of barley when planted in sand and soil. There was no significant difference in barley yield when cement dust and potassium sulfate fertilizers were applied. This may be due to the low (K) in both applied rates of cement dust and potassium sulfate. Due to the high pH value, high EC and high CaCO3 content, it is highly appreciated to do more investigations under the Jordanian conditions, to study the use of cement dust as a fertilizer
