ND-EDS'76-IBD combined oil adjuvanted vaccine was prepared and tested for its safety and immunogenicity in 6-233k-old SPF chickens. In addition, the persistence of immunity afforded by the vaccine was followed in commercial chickens, which were primed with live ND and IBD vaccines previously. It was shown that SPF chickens vaccinated with the dose of 0.5ml, produced satisfactory level of antibodies to ND, EDS'76, and IBD viruses, respectively. Weight gains of those chickens vaccinated with varying doses were comparable to unvaccinated control. However, hemorrhages or/and accumulation of pus like materials were found in chickens vaccinated with the least dose of 0.25 ml at site of injection even 7 weeks after vaccination
