Effect of moisture content and seed mass container volume ratio on longevity of sunflower seeds [Philippines]
1984
Ferry, F.S.
The moisture content of seed treated were 8 and 10-12 percent and the seed mass container volume ratios were 1.0, 0.5 and 0.25. Seeds with moisture content of 8 percent produced significantly more vigorous seedlings with higher germination percentage than the seeds with a moisture content of 10-12 percent. Seed moisture content of 10-12 percent in heat-sealed plastic bag at a ratio of 0.25 initiated deterioration of sunflower seeds
