Residues of linuron in tubers of early potato cultivars

In 1973-81 the herbicide Afalon was applied preemergently in early potatoes at the rate of 2 kg/ha. Each year 2 - 4 cultivars were grown on heavy clay sand. The results of Linuron detected in tubers during growing season and after it fluctuated between 0.003 and 0.126 mg/kg of fresh matter. The mean for 12 cultivars, years and dates of sampling was 0.018 mg/kg
