Response of winter wheat cultivars to herbicides

There were differences in response to herbicide treatment among the wheat cultivars studied. Two of them were found to be highly tolerant of the formulas used. The yields and the extent of damage to the plants were influenced by the weather during growth. Heavy weed infestation and high content of organic matter in the soil alleviated the adverse effects of herbicides on wheat plants
