Influence of mineral fertilizers on number, genus, species, composition and nutritional requirements of soil, rhizosphere and mycorrhizosphere bacteria of pine (Pinus silvestris L.) on a dry coniferous forest site Cladonio-pinetum

shThe paper presents the results of the studies on the effect of urea (92 kg N/ha) and potassium chloride (100 kg/ha) on pine forest soil bacteria. Bacteria were found to be always more numerous in the rhizosphere than in the non-rhizosphere soil. The applied fertilizers caused an immense increase (30 times) of total number of bacteria in the rhizosphere and their decrease in the mycorrhizosphere. Bacteria belonging to Bacillus circulans were more frequent in the non-rhizosphere than in rhizosphere and mycorrhizosphere soil and frequently isolated in spring than in autumn.
