Gene effects for yield components and protein in four spring barley crosses

This paper presents the results of the studies concerning the inheritance of the yield structure traits (spike number per plant, spike length, 1000-kernel weight and kernel weight per spike) and protein content in crosses between cv. Aramir and high-protein strains of spring barley. On the basis of P1, P2, F1, F2, B1, B2 generations genetic parameters associated with the additive gene action, dominance and non-alleic interaction have been estimated
