This study was conducted to determine the potential use of Kahrize water in Sinjar area for agricultural uses. Water sample of ten Kahrize of the area were collected during the period of 1982-1984. The chemical composition of these water samples were determined and used to evaluate water suitability for irrigation, livestock and poultry applications. It was found that Kahrize water at the area were suitable for irrigation purposes. According to salinity and alkali criteria of irrigation water, precaution can be taken for some Kahrize water. Other factors such as toxic and trace element concentrations together with residual sodium carbonate (RSC) were within permissible limits for irrigation use. The water quality of the Kahrize was classified as being excellent to very satisfactory for all classes of livestock and poultry based on salinity criteria
