Lygus pratensis L., has become a serious pest of Asparagus officinalis in the Schrobenhausen area. The insect pest is difficult to control because of the long flourishing time of the asparagus. In the present paper the biology of the pest, the symptoms of its sucking damage and results on the control of the pest are discussed
