Different life-table statistics of the hyperparasitoid Alloxysta pleuralis and its aphidiid host Trioxys indicus (an aphid parasitoid) were studied. The net fecundity rate (56.7 female offspring/female), total reproductive rate (113.9 total progeny/female), intrinsic rate of increase (0.1319), finite rate of increase (1.1409), intrinsic total rate of fecundity (0.1545), finite rate of total fecundity (1.1670) and weekly multiplication rate (2.5175) was very low to that of its host T. indicus. In addition, the mean generation time (29.7 days) and doubling time of the population (5.258 days) were about twice to that of T. indicus. All these measurements (considered as indices of fitness of the entomorphages) indicated that the hyperparasitism of T. indicus has little impact on the efficiency of the parasitoid against the aphids
