Effect of different irrigation regimes on some water relations and leaf mineral composition of seedy guava trees [Egypt]
1989
El-Khoreiby, A.M.K. (Suez-Canal Univ., Ismaileyah (Egypt). Faculty of Agriculture) | Salem, A.T.
Relative water content (RWC) of leaves increased as available water increased. Besides, decreasing soil moisture increased water deficit percentage and refractometric index (T.S.S.%). Moreover, the decrease in values of water dificit or T.S.S. were accompanied with the increase in RWC. Generally, leaf nitrogen was positively correlated with decreasing irrigation frequency. Different water regimes had no clear effect on phoshorus and potassium in the leaves.
