The entomopathogenic fungus, Beauveria bassiana (Baisamo) Vuil. isolated from rice planthopper, Nilaparvata lugens was found to affect higher mortality on Titrathaba rufivena Walker, Promecotheca cumingii Baly, and Plesispa reichei Chopius than Metarrhizium anisopliae L. The B. bassiana isolate needs further evaluation under field condition.
