Effect of used inorganic fertilizer and animal manure on the cropping systems

A cropping system of (corn+soybean)/cassava/soybean was studied during the 1988/89 wet season and the 1989 dry season at Citayam Experimental Farm, Bogor Research Institute for Food Crops. The experiment was designed in a split plot design with three replications. The main plots were two cassava plant spacings which were 80 cm x 400 cm and 40 cm x 400 cm, and the sub plots were six combinations of inorganic fertilizer and animal manure. The results showed that combination one of inorganic fertilizer recommendation and 5 t/ha animal manure gave the best yield. The effect of animal manure appeared on the second crops.
