An Ferkeln von 10 Jungsauen konnte kein Einfluss der Saugordnung auf die Gewichte bis zum 20 Tag beobachtet werden, Ferkel von 12 Altsauen wiesen hoehere Gewichte auf, wenn sie an den vorderen Zitzen saugten. Bei Altsauen zeigten die hinteren Zitzenpaare hoehere prozentuale Milchinhaltsstoffe und eine geringere Mengenleistung.
