Tannins content in bark of Quercus pubescens Willd. in relation to the altitude and exposure [in Tuscany]

Английский. 48 Plants of Quercus pubescens Willd. were sampled from six experimental stations at 100, 300 and 600 meters of altitude and with a southern or northern exposure. The statistic of the data collected with qualitative and quantitative analyses showed a significant correlation between altitude and total content of tannins. For the non-tannic substances and the flobafenic tannins also exposure and the cumulate effect exposure x altitude seem to play an important role. The influence of altitude is more evident both in northern and southern exposure at 100 meters a.s.l.. The bark of Quercus pubescens Willd. is suitable for chemical production and for energetic purposes

Furono analizzate 48 piante di Quercus pubescens Willd. prelevandone otto per ognuna delle sei situate a quote di 100, 300 e 600 m di altitudine con esposizione Nord e Sud. L'analisi quantitativa e qualitativa dei tannini, i cui risultati furono elaborati statisticamente, ha mostrato significativita' dell'effetto altitudine sul contenuto dei tannini totali, mentre per i flobafenici ed i non tannini ha importanza anche l'effetto esposizione e l'interazione esposizione x altitudine. L'effetto altitudine e' rilevabile nelle stazioni 100 m Nord e Sud. Si propone l'uso della corteccia per la produzione di chemicals ed energetico
