Changes in productive and qualitative parameters of sugar beet due to the forms and doses of fertilizers

Sugar beet was cultivated in alluvial and alluvial gleyic soils after winter wheat. When liquid fertilizers were applied the yield of sugar beet increased by 22.9 % in alluvial soil and by 29 % in alluvial gleyic soil. Medium to high linear dependence of the yield production was found out on supplied doses of nutrients and forms of fertilizers (r=0.59 to 0.88); 1 kg of supplied pure nutrients produced 19.0 to 40.0 kg in alluvial soil and 42.2 to 48.6 kg of roots in alluvial gleyic soil. The highest production effect of nutrients was achieved when only liquid fertilizer was applied and dressing by DAM 390. Raised dose of nutrients resulted in decrease in digestion, the content of ashes and MB-factor values rose. Application of liquid manure significantly reduced a negative impact on the quality of sugar beet due to the higher doses of nutrients applied compared with parameters after dressing by solid fertilizer - ammonium-calcarous nitrate. An effect of fertilization by liquid fertilizers was more significant in alluvial gleyic soil, that is in the soil with lower natural yield potential.
