The Program, developed with extensive industry consultation, sets out objectives for the Department in priority order and with implementation strategies, for activities associated with the wool production industry. The activity areas defined are: productivity form pastures; quality wool; healthy sheep; well-managed farms; and developing the skills of people. Constraints and opportunities are identified for research, extension and development in each area.
