The research, begun in 1973, has concentrated on poisoning and baiting, which had to be carried out in pen and cage conditions because of lack of plague and irruptions; and on rodent problems in all situations including storage facilities and domestic situations. It also examined factors relating to previous plagues in order to develop a predictive model. A list of publications arising from the project is included.
