Effects of composted sewage sludge on the residual ion content of soils

Английский. Changes occurring in the ion content of two soils of different texture have been studied after their amendment with an urban and an industrial sludge. These sludges have been subjected to different composting periods with slivers from tree pruning before their addition to the soils. Organic matter and N contents increased in both soils after the amendment with the sludges, and this effect was more noticeable in the case of the clay soil. It was also found that organic matter from the industrial sludge mineralized after 14-weeks of fermentation, but the period of composting with slivers did not affect the organic matter content of the urban sludge. Although the content of macro-elements in soil solution hardly varied after amendment with sludge, the contents of micro-elements and heavy metals (especially those of Fe and Pb) increased significantly when the high rate and the shorter composting period were used; however, Mn and Al were retained in the clay soil. итальянский. [Si sono studiati i cambiamenti avvenuti nel contenuto ionico di due terreni di diversa composizione dopo averli trattati con reflui urbani e industriali. Questi reflui sono stati sottoposti a periodi di compostaggio diversi con residui di potatura prima della loro aggiunta al terreno. La sostanza organica e il contenuto di N aumentava in entrambi i terreni dopo il trattamento con i liquami, e questo effetto si notava maggiormente nel caso del terreno argilloso. Si e' anche riscontrato che la sostanza organica dei liquami industriali mineralizzava dopo 14 settimane di fermentazione, ma il periodo di compostaggio con i residui di potatura non influenzava il contenuto di sostanza organica dei liquami urbani. Sebbene il contenuto di macro-elementi del terreno nella soluzione del terreno vari limitatamente, dopo l'aggiunta di liquame, il contenuto di micro-elementi e di metalli pesanti (specialmente Fe e Pb) aumentava in modo significativo quando venivano utilizzati il livello piu' elevato e il periodo piu' breve di compostaggio.
