Linear and high-power reliable raining irrigation plants were adapted and spread in Hungary for the production before privatization. There are demands for production of energy-saving, cheap, easy manageable and reliable irrigation plant ownership to the change of estate and the transformation of production structure. The development and production of the home irrigation plants was aimed at assortment increasing of the irrigation equipments for several farms, at reducing of energy consumption and at improvement of rain quality. In the field of microirrigation the development and spreading of the drop and microsprinkler irrigation are in progress now. In the field of surface irrigation the measurement of demands and determination of the development trends are taking place. The effect of the irrigation plants to the environment has to be taken into consideration at developments.
