Mixed storage of fruit and vegetables is a problem to which there is no easy solution. In order to apply mixed storage for short periods, the user needs to understand the thermal requirement, temperature and ethylene sensitivity as well as the physiology and chemistry of the products that he is going to store to avoid the incompatibility of mixed storage.
