Characterization of two methods of evaluation of potential parents for synthetic varieties

Английский. Two simple methods to assess the value for development of synthetic varieties of N potential parents are studied. One (MN) is based on the evaluation of N entries only (the progenies resulting from crossing each parent to the population formed by the N potential parents). The second method (M2N) is based on the evaluation of 2N entries (from each parent two families are obtained, one by the cross with the N-1 remaining parents and the other by randomly mating its individuals in isolation). Besides being more suitable when N is large, MN involves little field work to make the entries and, on the basis of a fixed number of plots, MN is more efficient (in statistical sense) than M2N. Moreover, for the case in which N is an even number, basic principles of the estimation of the difference of the true means of two special synthetics and of the test of the hypothesis of this difference being zero are shown for both methods. итальянский. [Vengono studiati due metodi semplici per accertare il valore di N parentali potenziali per lo sviluppo di varieta'sintetiche. Uno (MN) e' basato solo sulla valutazione di N accessioni (progenie risultanti dall'incrocio di ogni parentale con la popolazione formata dagli N parentali potenziali). Il secondo metodo (M2N) e' basato sulla valutazione di 2N accessioni (vengono ottenute due famiglie da ogni parentale, una mediante l'incrocio con gli N-1 parentali rimanenti e l'altra accoppiando a caso i suoi individui in isolamento). Oltre a essere piu' adatto quando N e' grande, MN comporta un minor lavoro di campo per produrre le accessioni e, sulla base di un numero fissato di parcelle, e' piu' efficiente, in senso statistico, di M2N. In piu', nel caso in cui N sia un numero pari, per ambedue i metodi vengono evidenziati i principi di base della stima delle differenze delle medie vere di due varieta' sintetiche speciali e della verifica dell'ipotesi nel caso in cui questa differenza sia zero.
