The possibility of applying stress controlled irrigation in the cultivation of peaches in Val di Sangro [Abruzzi]

Английский. Research has ascertained that it is possible to apply the controlled water deficit in the cultivation of peaches in the Val di Sangro (CH). This has allowed, for the various stages of maturation, the simulation of a daily irrigation balance by using a series of historical thermopluviometric data (1966-1991). In analysing the results we have noticed significant differences between the traditional technique and the controlled water deficit method when referring to the number of irrigations undertaken and the total volumes of watering. The major savings in water were noticed in the early maturing varieties

A tale scopo si e' proceduto, per le diverse epoche di maturazione, alla simulazione del bilancio idrico su base giornaliera, utilizzando una serie storica di dati termo-pluviometrici (1966-1991). L'analisi dei risultati mette in evidenza differenze significative tra la tecnica tradizionale e quella del deficit idrico controllato per cio' che riguarda il numero di irrigazioni effettuate e i volumi complessivi di adacquamento. I maggiori risparmi idrici sono conseguibili nelle varieta' a maturazione precoce
