This report contains an overview of the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Marine Resources of Trinidad and Tobago. Its functions, policies and methodologies adopted over the years were scrutinised. Proposals and recommendations towards a more efficient and sustainable level of production are forwarded. Both the private and public agricultural sectors were examined, as well as, commodities such as sugar, rice, cocoa, citrus, tropical fruits, cut flowers, vegetables and livestock.
