The Draft National Policy for food and Agriculture of June 1993 begins by listing and discussing the land, water, forest, living marine, human, institutional and physical infrastructure resources. Sectoral performance is reviewed, recent developments discussed and strategies laid out. Trading and pricing, food and nutrition, security, marketing/marketing information, technical support, credit and institutional reform , together with revitalising agriculture in Tobago and the restructuring of Caroni (1975) are some of the headings from which discussions stem. Macrosectoral policies outlines the issues, current status and agreed actions as regards to all sectors as it affects Food and Agriculture in Trinidad and Tobago.
