Английский. The success of oil palm planlet production is influenced by several factors, i.e. culture media component on every developmental stage, manpower and the room sanitary quality. As a step towards commercial planlet production which is true-to-type, the number and the quality of culture in the laboratory should be particularly considered. The numbers of stock embryo and shoot influence the number of planlet produced. In order to keep planlet quality, without-hormone media is used in the stages of maturity and embryo multiplication and shoot induction. Whereas in the root formation stage, the media is supplemented with low concentration of auxin

Keberhasilan produksi planlet kelapa sawit dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu: komponen media pada setiap tahap kultur, tenaga kerja dan kualitas kebersihan ruangan. Sebagai langkah menuju produksi planlet yang bersifat "true-to-type" secara besar-besaran, maka jumlah dan kualitas kultur di laboratorium menjadi perhatian utama. Jumlah "stock embrio" maupun stock pupus sangat mempengaruhi jumlah planlet yang dapat dihasilkan. Untuk menjaga kualitas planlet maka pada tahap pematangan dan perbanyakan embrio maupun induksi pupus digunakan media tanpa hormon. Sedangkan pada tahap perakaran, digunakan media yang mengandung auksin dosis rendah
