The aim of this research was to find out the best combination of N and K fertilizer on cassava yield and yield components in red yellow podsolic soil. The research was carried out at Gunung Makmur, Tanah Laut regency, South Kalimantan province. The research took place from August 1991 until June 1992, on red yellow podsolic soil. The research consisted of 12 treatments. The research was arranged in randomized complete block design with three replications. Adhira II cassava variety was planted in 80 x 100 cm plant spacing at 5 x 8 m plot size. The research results show that length of tuber, total tuber per plant, and yield of cassava affected by N and K fertilized and its interaction.
