It is our opinion that the cost of training competent agricultural scientists in research and extension represent an very valuable investment as the national economy depended on the agricultural sector. That investment will be quickly recovered by a prudent government in Cambodia. Failure to invest in agricultural research and extension workers could condemn the country and the people, to many more years of poverty
