Basic tables of commercial agriculture

1997

This document presents the basic tables of commercial agriculture in Namibia as obtained during the 1994/95 Namibia Agricultural Census. This census was the first agricultural census after independence in 1990 and covered both the commercial and communal agricultural sectors within the 13 administrative regions of the country. The 20 tables are purposely presented in a simple form and cover subjects like number and total area of farms, livestock numbers, labour input, vehicles, tractor equipment and other basic agricultural statistics.
