This paper discusses the natural resources of Jordan as the soil types, the climate, water resources and the districts and population. A special chapter was devoted to animal production and animal products as well as to forage types. An estimate of the current and future situation of the natural resources was given. Forage production was discussed in detail including import and export as well as obstacles encountered in the production.
