[Patterns of earning of Lampung villagers: case study on native villagers and the newcomers]

The fast development of the population in Lampung influences the patterns of earning especially at villages both natives and newcomers. This research is meant to compare the patterns of earning of Lampungese native with those of newcomers. This research was a purposive sampling with randomized respondents. The result shows that (1) the number of family members has negative correlation with the number of workers in Lampungese families while in newcomer families, it has positive correlation. (2) The main work of Lampungese families is landlord while that of newcomer families is not only in agriculture. (3) The duration of study of both is 6.14 years at the average, Lampungese families have less working hours that newcomers do. (4) there is opposite correlation of working hours and the income between Lampungese families and newcomer families. (5) The asset of cultivation land of Lampungese families is more than that of newcomer families. (6) The social integration between Lampungese and newcomers is high
