Effect of iron interaction with Rhizobium sp. and Meloidogyne incognita in relation to uptake of nitrogen, iron and zinc in mungbean [Vigna radiata]

Английский. The effect of Rhizobium sp. and Meloidogyne incognita on nodulation, nitrogen fixation and translocation of Fe and Zn in the shoot of mungbean (Vigna radiata) cv. SML-32 was investigated in plants grown in the presence of different concentrations of Fe. Application of Fe at 20 ppm produced the maximum number of nodules per plant, nitrogenase activity of nodules, dry weight of shoots per plant and N content of shoot. However, 30 ppm Fe had an adverse effect on all these characters and reduced the translocation of Fe and Zn in the shoot

[E' stato studiato l'effetto di Rhizobium sp. e Meloidogyne incognita su nodulazione, fissazione dell'azoto e traslocazione di Fe e Zn nel germoglio di fagiolo aureo (Vigna radiata) cv. SML-32, in piante coltivate in presenza di concentrazioni diverse di Fe. L'applicazione di Fe a 20 ppm determinava i valori massimi di numero di noduli, attivita' nitrogenasica dei noduli, peso secco dei germogli per pianta e contenuto di N del germoglio. Comunque, il Fe alla concentrazione di 30 ppm presentava un effetto contrario su tutte queste caratteristiche e riduceva la traslocazione di Fe e Zn nel germoglio]
