The factors influencing the conductivity of Amaranthus seeds are described in this paper. The volt-ampere characteristics of seed batches for four Amaranthus varieties, resistance, resistivity and conductivity with respect to voltage, moisture content, and bulk density are presented. It was found out that the value of the current tends toward the conduction component of the current after two minutes, therefore the current was read after this time. From the given characteristic, the electrical resistance, resistivity, conductivity and impedance of samples were calculated for each variety, at a moisture content and bulk density. It was found out that the resistance and impedance of samples were decreasing with an increasing voltage. The resistivity and conductivity of samples change in proportion by a number of degrees as a function of moisture content. The conductivity increased with the bulk density.
