CARDI Barbados annual report 1987/88 is intended more for the general reader than for the technical specialist. It therefore seeks to be comprehensive without being exhaustive. The main body of the report is described under the headings of Livestock, Legumes, Vegetables, Root Crops, Sugarcane and Technical Assistance and Training. New production systems were developed for pigeon pea and new varieties of sweet potato were received from the USA. Disease control was used on yam and pest control on cabbage and sugarcane.
