[The efect stocking rate and sulphur fertilization upon root production of Brachiaria mutica and Teramnus uncinatus] | Efecto de la carga animal y la fertilizacion azufrada sobre la produccion de raices de Brachiaria mutica y Teramnus uncinatus

Английский. This experiment consisted in the study of the root dry matter production in a grass legume mixture swards of B. mutica T. uncinatus. It was utilized a factorial arrangement of treatments of the tree stocking rate (1.5, 2.25 and 3.0 AU/ha) and two level of sulphur fertilization (0,30 kg/ha/year0 in a complety randomized desing, with two replications. The results showed that root mass production increased with the rain. There was a negative relation (P0.05) between stocking rate and root production. Sulphur fertilization did not increase dry matter production (P0.05). The mayor concentration of root dry matter production ocurred in the 0-15 cm soil layer. Mass root production varied from 174 to 551 g/m2 in the dry and wet periods, respectively

Испанский язык; кастильский. El ensayo consistio en el estudio de la dinamica de raices en una asociacion de Brachiaria mutica - Teramnus uncinatus. Para tal fin se utilizo un arreglo factorial de tratamientos de 3 cargas animales (1,5; 2,25 y 3,0 UA/ha), 2 niveles de fertilizacion con azufre (0 y 30 kg S/ha/ano) y 2 repeticiones, en un diseno completamente aleatorizado. Entre los resultados obtenidos se destacan el aumento de la produccion de biomasa de raices con la precipitacion, igualmente se encontro una relacion inversa y significativa (P0,05) entre carga animal y produccion de raices. No se obtuvo diferencias (P0,05) en la fertilizacion con azufre. El estrato de suelos entre 0-15 cm registro la mayor concentracion y dinamica de raices. Se obtuvieron valores de biomasa de raices entre 174 y 551 g/m2 para las epocas seca y de lluvias respectivamente
