The objective of the research was to obtain 2 calves from a dairy cow at the same time: a crossbred (commercial crossing) and a purebred beef calf (from an embryo). Results of the experiment could help work out the future model of high quality beef production in dairy herds from cows that are of lower breeding value. At the present stage one can draw the following conclusions: 1) In the whole experiment on 100 Black and White (BW) cows, using beef breeds: Angus (AA), Limousin (L), Hereford (H) and Piedmontese (P), the average fertility rate was 52 percent and calves/cows rate 133 percent; 2) There were different sire breed and embryo breed effects for reproductive performance of cows. The best results were achieved for BW x L + L and BW + AA models, moderate for BW x H + H, and poor for BW x P + P
