The growth intensity and carcass value of male and female kids of the Cashmere goat breed were evaluated under semi-intensive fattening on the Sosuvka farm. The average daily intake of male kids was 15.14 g PDI and 2.09 MJ NE for fattening (NEF) and of female kids 18.43 g PDI and 2.07 MJ NEF. The average live weight at the age of 81 days for the male and female kids was 13.49 and 10.50 kg. The average daily gain in the interval between birth and 81 days of age for the whole group was 0.125 kg, i.e., 0.141 and 0.107 kg for the male and female kids, respectively. The carcass yield of male kids was 46.71 % and of female kids 48.63 %. The colour of meat of all females and half of the male kids was dark. The proportion of leg and shoulder was insignificantly higher in the male kids. The difference between the sexes in the musculature (in the right shoulder) in terms of weight and percentage was not statistically significant. On the contrary, the differences between sexes in fat weight and percentage were in favour of the female kids.
