Studies were aimed at the evaluation of efficacy of Alplucine SP in the prevention and treatment of mycoplasmosis in poultry and the effect of the antibiotic used in broilers on selected indices of cellular and humoral immunity. The experiment comprised 2 stages: field studies geared towards the efficacy of Alplucine SP in the prophylactics and treatment of mycoplasmosis in poultry, and laboratory examinations focused on the effect of iosamycine on selected indices of cellular and humoral immunity in broilers. The results of field studies confirmed a high efficacy of Alplucine SP in the prophylactics and therapy of mycoplasmosis. The preparation assessed had also a positive effect on cellular and humoral immunity in broilers
