The paper offers the impact of substrates (peat, peat + mineral soil) and nitrogen fertilizer froms (KNO3, Ca(NO3)2, NH4NO3) on fruit yield and chemical composition of fruit, substrates and leaves of pepper cultivated in greenhouse. A higher fruit yield was obtained from cultivation on peat + mineral soil and the lowest - on peat substrate with Ca(NO3)2. The lowest content of mineral nitrogen in substrate and the highest total nitrogen in leaves were recorded for objects with NH4NO3. The lowest EC value was observed in substrates with KNO3
