Application of the neural networks in agriculture

The possibilities of neural network application in agricultural production were discussed. The Neural Planner programme was used to predicting duration of compost production on the basis of different organic materials. Created neural network consisted of 6 input, 6 hidden and 1 output neurons connected by 42 synapses. The network was learned with 82 training files during back propagation learning process. The results obtained with the training files showed the neural network easy to use and helpful in predicting and support decision at organic waste management. To correct learning of created neural network a number of field experiment results would be required
