[Transnational Co-operation in Agriculture and Environment: Measure 6.2 of P.I.C. Interreg II Italy-Albania

This paper illustrates the actions scheduled in Measure 6.2 "Co-operation in agriculture" of the Programme of the European Initiative Interreg II Italy-Albania, being implemented in Apulia since 1999. The authors present the contents of the research and study projects implemented by means of this Measure, and concerning some of the sectors of major interest for agriculture in Albania. The topics concern the development of organic production, the improvement in the animal husbandry sector, the introduction of innovatory techniques for cultivating fruits and vegetables (with special reference to integrated management). After having presented the "products" and the expected impact of research works and studies, the authors comment the intervention as a whole and, referring to the validity of the Measure, the concertation with the Albanian partner, the transfer of results obtained and the support they may offer to land programming activity, concluding with short remarks on future developments of the Programme in view of reprogramming interventions.

Ce travail illustre les actions prévues par la Mesure 6.2 "Co-operation en agriculture" du Programme d'Initiative Communautaire Interreg II Italie-Albanie, en cours de réalisation dans les Pouilles depuis 1999. Les auteurs ont voulu illustrer les contenus des projets d'études et de recherche mise en place grâce à cette Mesure, et concernant certains des secteurs clés pour l'agriculture de l'Albanie. Les thèmes traités concernent le développement de la production biologique, l'amélioration du secteur zootechnique, l'introduction de techniques novatrices pour la culture des fruits et légumes (se référant notamment à la lutte intégrée). Après avoir illustré les "produits" et l'impact des recherches et des études, les auteurs expriment des commentaires sur l'intervention dans son ensemble et sur les aspects liés à la validité de la Mesure, à la concertation avec le partenaire albanais, au transfert des résultats obtenus et à la contribution de ces résultats à l'activité de programmation territoriale, concluant par de brèves considérations sur les développements futurs du Programme dans une perspective de re-programmation des interventions.
