Dynamic model of the external friction process of granular plant material

A model was developed concerning elastic and elasto-plastic collisions between tips of micro-irregularities of granular plant material and structural material during friction at high relative velocities of both bodies. The dependencies for force of friction and carrying force were given. Theoretical analysis of these dependencies proved that the coefficient of external friction decreases with certain range of relative motion velocities of the materials
