Response of lentil cvs to Meloidogyne javanica in the presence and absence of Rhizobium in three soil types

Английский. The response of lentil cvs Desi Masoor, K-75 and Malika Masoor to Meloidogyne javanica was studied in the presence and absence of Rhizobium sp. in three soil types. Plant growth of all the cultivars was best when grown in a mixture of 3:1 clay:sand, followed by 2:2 and 1:3 clay:sand. However, susceptibility of the cvs to M. javanica increased in 1:3 clay:sand mixture and decreased in 3:1 clay:sand mixture. The presence of Rhizobium had an adverse effect on nematode multiplication and galling in all the soil types. Soil type had no effect on nematode morphometric, while the presence of Rhizobium and each of the cultivars affected all morphometric parameters except stylet length and stylet knob width. Cv Desi Masoor was rated highly susceptible to M. javanica, K-75 as susceptible and Malika Masoor as tolerant

[E' stata studiata la risposta delle cultivar di lenticchia Desi Masoor, K-75 e Malika Masoor a Meloidogyne javanica in presenza e assenza di Rhizobium sp. in tre tipi di terreno. La crescita delle piante di tutte le cv era massima quando le stesse erano coltivate in una miscela di argilla:sabbia 3:1, seguita da 2:2 e 1:3. Comunque, la suscettibilita' delle cv a M. javanica aumentava nella miscela 1:3 argilla:sabbia e diminuiva nella miscela 3:1 argilla:sabbia. La presenza di Rhizobium aveva un effetto sfavorevole sulla moltiplicazione dei nematodi e sulla formazione di galle in tutti e tre i tipi di terreno. Il tipo di terreno non aveva effetto sulla morfometria dei nematodi, mentre la presenza di Rhizobium e ognuna delle cultivar influenzavano tutti i parametri morfometrici, eccetto la lunghezza dello stiletto e l'ampiezza della base dello stiletto. La cv Desi Masoor e' stata classificata altamente suscettibile a M. javanica, K-75 suscettibile e Malika Masoor tollerante]
