Estimation of the sediment transport in open channels formed with non-cohesive and semi-cohesive soils

The paper presents the results of the river sediment transport registrations performed in Odra river. During the measurement campaingns the transport of bed load, suspended load and wash load have been measured. The measurements of suspended load were performed by a new sampling method and of wash load by pumping method and by means of the optical sensors. The results of turbidity obtained using both methods showed their good conformity. The grain composition of bed material has also been determined and compared with sediment transported by stream. Selected sediment transport parameters for the particular kinds of loads have been estimated
