The results of experiment indicate that there were no significant differences in nutrient digestibility of differently ground triticale. An exception was here energy digestibility, which turned out to be lower in rolled triticale. Expanded triticale, compared with ground triticale was characterized by lower nutrient digestibility, but the differences were significant only in the case of ether extract and gross energy. Pigs fed expanded triticale excreted less feces containg more dry matter. The digestibility of protein, ether extract and energy increased when xylanase and beta-glucanase were added to expanded triticale. Rolle, medium - and finely-ground or expanded triticale contained in diets had no effects on the nitrogen balance in pigs
