Reactions of fear and the productivity of sows in stalls

Английский. The aim of this study was to determine the fear of 201 inseminated sows in stalls. The test used is a test of avoidance. The distribution of sows according to test was 51.74% of trustful sows, 29.85% of afraid sows and 18.41% of fearful sows. The fearful sows presented legs with lesions. The comparison of three technical reproductive parameters (the weaning to insemination interval, the interval between farrowings and the total number of piglets born by multiparous sows per year) has shown that the fearful sows had the worse results (P0.05 vs the afraid sows and P0.10 vs the trustful sows). In un allevamento ad ottima gestione manageriale e caratterizzato da un buon rapporto uomo-animale, il test di reattivita' applicato a 201 scrofe in gabbia nel periodo tra copertura e diagnosi di gravidanza ha evidenziato il 51,74% di scrofe fiduciose, il 29,85 di timorose ed il 18,41 di paurose. Lo spessore del lardo misurato al punto P2 e il BCS non hanno mostrato differenze significative tra i tre gruppi, mentre il punteggio assegnato agli arti ha evidenziato un significativo peggioramento del gruppo delle paurose. L'esame delle performance per le scrofe pluripare portato sull'ISCU, interparto e numero di suinetti prodotti per scrofa per anno ha mostrato risultati peggiori a carico delle scrofe paurose. Si sono introdotte ipotesi per spiegare l'insorgenza della paura nel gruppo di animali che rispondevano negativamente al test di reattivita'
