The first Georgian, locally produced biopreparation, with the trademark Bover-Ge, a mycopesticide, is a bioformulation created by biotechnology; it is produced on the basis of a local strain of the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana and registered by the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture, National Food Agency of Georgia in 2019 (registration #3142). It is safe for humans and the environment and will contribute to the manufacture of environmentally friendly products. Tab. 1, Ref. 8.
